Hasley Hills HASLEY HILLS HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING OCTOBER 13, 2005
Present: Roger Ludwig President Jim DeMatte Secretary Bob Throckmorton Director Vicki Olson Association Management Absent: Michelle Griffin Treasurer Larry Totter Vice President Call To OrderThe President called the meeting to order at 7:08 PM Approval of MinutesThe President summarized the Executive Session minutes from both the September 1, 2005 and October 3, 2005 meetings. Motion: Roger Ludwig Second: Jim DeMatte Resolution: The Board approved the minutes of the Executive Session meeting and the Board of Directors meeting held on September 1, 2005. Motion carried 2-0 with Bob Throckmorton abstaining. Motion: Roger Ludwig Second: Jim DeMatte Resolution: The Board approved the minutes of the Executive Session meeting held on October 3, 2005. Motion carried 3-0. Financial ReportThe Treasurer was not present so Neil Gereb from the Finance Committee presented the financial statement and advised the Board the reserves are fully funded and the balance sheet balances. HOA CommunicationsOak Tree Maintenance The President reported that KB informed the HOA that the previously reported maintenance program is not necessary now that the trees are established. The Heritage Oaks will have to be watched more closely and the irrigation to the trees will have to be disconnected, as they are no longer needed. Litigation The President advised the homeowners that KB walked out of the last mediation and has not responded to the HOA’s request to begin mediation again. It looks like the HOA may be looking at a 2006 court date. 2006 Reserve Study The President reported the Reserve Study has begun and once the Board has reviewed the draft it will be sent back to the Reserve Study for any necessary changes. Homeless Project The President reported he and several homeowners were at the county’s presentation but that it appeared that the project had already been approved. Committee Reports to the Board of DirectorsAnnexation Kim White reported the annexation committee needs only 13 more signatures before they can turn it over to the city council for consideration. ACC Neil Gereb reported the ACC approved 9 plans and disapproved 2 plans this month. Finance Committee No report HCC Don Jeffries reported the HCC had their first hearing and recommended 5 homeowners be fined for their violations. He reported none of those homeowners appeared at the hearing. Neighborhood Watch Kim White reported the committee held it’s first meeting with the block captains. The committee will be sending homeowners bi-monthly safety tips. Social Committee Roger reported there are currently 5 members on the social committee. The committee will be holding an annual holiday lights contest with details to be mailed out with the November and December billing through Crown Management. New BusinessNeil Gereb reported on a plan to ladder the Reserve Money. Committee AppointmentsThe President reported that several homeowners have called to volunteer on the various committees but that more volunteers are needed. Announcement of Executive Session The President announced the next Executive Session will be held on October 29, 2005 with another Executive Session to be held before the next Board meeting of November 3, 2005.
